Shipping Policy

At Purple Plectrums, every pick is handcrafted with precision and care. As a one-person operation, I handle every order personally—from manual shaping at the bench to final packaging—so I deeply appreciate your patience as I get your gear ready to ship.

Production & Processing Schedule

  • Handmade to Order: Each piece is custom-made by hand. Please allow up to 2 weeks for manual production before shipment.
  • Shipping Day: I ship orders once a week, typically on Thursdays.
  • Tracking Info: You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number a few days before your order actually ships, letting you know it is securely in the queue.

If you have an urgent deadline or need a faster turnaround, feel free to contact the workshop—I will do my best to accommodate you when possible.

Domestic Shipping (U.S. Orders)

  • Carrier: All U.S. orders are shipped strictly via USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail.
  • Delivery Time: Typically 1–5 business days after leaving the studio.
  • Shipping Cost: Calculated at checkout based on location. Domestic shipping is free on all orders over $75.

International Shipping

To help make our handcrafted items accessible to musicians worldwide, we offer economical shipping via USPS International alongside premium, fast-track carriers.

USPS International (Budget-Friendly)

* Best For: Keeping shipping costs as low as possible.

* Estimated Delivery: 2 to 6 weeks, depending on customs clearance in your country.

* Tracking & Insurance Note: Detailed door-to-door tracking and speed vary once the package enters your country's local postal system. While USPS is reliable, scan updates may pause while processing through destination customs.

DHL (Fast & Fully Tracked)

* Best For: Time-sensitive orders, detailed step-by-step tracking, and comprehensive insurance coverage.

* Estimated Delivery: 3 to 7 business days.

Please note: Import duties, taxes, and VAT are determined by your country's local customs authority and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Delivery & Transit Notes

P.O. Boxes: USPS delivers to all standard domestic addresses and P.O. Boxes. Please note that international DHL shipments require a valid physical street address.

Lost or Damaged Packages: If your order is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please reach out within 7 days of delivery. I will work directly with the carrier to resolve the issue. If an item arrives damaged, please retain the original packaging as photos may be required for a claim.
