Introducing the Apollo (previously known as the Micro). Named after the Greek god of music, truth, Sun, and more. He is the son of Zeus and the twin brother of Artemis. As the god of Mousike (art of Muses), Apollo presides over all music, songs, dance and poetry and is the companion of the Muses (functioning as their chorus leader in celebrations). The lyre is a common attribute of Apollo.

This plectrum is the embodiment of all of these traits; its size and shape will inspire and the familiarity of the Jazz III will give a foundation to start from. However; this is where the familiarity with “other” picks end; this beautiful, hand crafted pick is made of UHMWPE and measures 22mm wide by 25mm long. When ordering please specify your preferences in the order notes section. The available thicknesses range from 5mm to 9mm and the available colors are Purple, Blue, White, or Black. The default (if details are not specified by the buyer) will be 6mm thick and the artisan’s choice of color.

Stop being weird and try this pick!

My fourth pick from Kori - can’t say enough. This has revolutionized my playing, speed and precision. I used jazz iii .73s for 2 decades and after my first purple plectrum I haven’t looked back. I get that the thickness/concept here is crazy but you need to try it out. I’ve bought 4 picks, but all are in fine condition/still being used. I just like having diffeeent picks for my different string gauges/tuning.

I really want to love this pick

I really want to love this pick. I have a hitchhiker thumb and I have a tendency to pop my thumb knuckle inward when I play. I thought a thicker pick would help straighten my thumb out. This pick does everything I was hoping for except it makes a strange overtone when I pick single notes (I’m guessing it’s the material). Love it for technical practice and speed picking, the shape and feel are perfect. But I’m afraid I can’t gig on it because of the overtones

The workmanship of the pick is amazing! You can tell a lot of time and effort went into creating it. Kori is a fantastic pick fabricator.

This is one of the smoothest picks I have ever used! UHMWPE is an incredible material. It's seems to be virtually indestructible, very light weight, and the texture is reminiscent of wood.

To my ears, it produces a somewhat bright tone. I can actually turn the volume down a bit when using this pick.
